My driveway was in desperate need of repair/replacement. Summit explained replacement is the only real option. I had other bids, but did not get a feeling they were reliable. Travis and Alan were responsive and helpful. They poured the concrete with the rebar suspended to allow it to strengthen just like you would see on a highway or high traffic street. The crew did a great job and completed the task within two days which included the walkway to my front door. Never thought I would have neighbors tell me how great my driveway looks.

I had some knowledge of concrete installations, and had expectations of what the job should look like. Upon visiting with Alan, I was convinced that Summit was the one I wanted to do the job. They started ahead of schedule, and no surprises. I monitored the pour via camera. The rebar was evenly spaced and raised as I was told it would be. Barndominium cost in Oklahoma varies based on four factors: (1) Finish level — a structural shell is a very different investment than a fully finished, move-in-ready home; (2) Size and footprint; (3) Site conditions — rural acreage, slope, soil type, and utility access all affect the concrete and site work; (4) Scope — whether your quote includes concrete foundation, site prep, and outdoor living is everything. Summit custom quotes every project — the only accurate number is one built around your specific land, plans, and finish goals. Every Summit quote includes the concrete foundation; many competitors’ quotes do not.

How long does it take to build a barndominium?

Timeline depends on your finish level. A structural shell (weathertight, unfinished interior) typically takes 5–7 weeks from permit approval. Rough-in complete (shell + mechanical, electrical, and plumbing in the walls) runs 10–14 weeks. A fully finished, move-in-ready barndominium typically takes 4–8 months — with 6–8 months being a realistic expectation for a 2,000 sq ft build. Alan or Ally will give you a written project schedule at contract signing.

Do I need to own land before contacting Summit?

Does Summit offer a warranty on barndominium builds?

Yes. Summit provides a 1-year labor and workmanship warranty on fully finished residential construction — Summit’s own commitment to stand behind the work. If Summit built it and it fails within a year due to workmanship, we fix it. Major materials also carry their own manufacturer warranties.

Can Summit build to any finish level?

Yes. Summit builds to four levels — structural shell only, rough-in (framing + mechanical/electrical/plumbing), utilities installed with unfinished interior, or fully finished turnkey. You choose based on your budget and timeline.
